Tangitū

Created in collaboration with Huia Publishers & Ministry of Education as an educational resource for Kauwhata Reo.

We demonstrate the water cycle through a te ao Māori lens, watching the waters flow towards the Mangonui, Whangaroa, Hokianga and Pewhairangi harbours from the maunga Tangitū. We then see how they reconvene at the maunga in an ongoing cycle that connects the Te Tai Tokerau region’s hapu and iwi together.
